Biography

Dr. Beck was born in Harvey, Illinois.  She received her BA degree from University of Illinois and her premedical studies at Brown University, Providence, RI.  She went on to Yale University to receive her medical degree.  Dr. Beck served her internship at Beth Israel in Boston and her residency in ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.  She completed a fellowship in Glaucoma Research at Scheie Eye Institute in Philadelphia. 

Dr. Beck was certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1987.  She is an Attending Surgeon on the Cataract and Primary Eye Care (CPEC) Service at Wills Eye Institute and is a Clinical Instructor in Ophthalmology at Jefferson Medical College.
